Children International--Manila Agency GRADUATION

Officially, I have graduated in the Sponsorship.
*sniff*

but
predominantly happy:D

Earlier I have attended the graduation of CI-AKI at Philippine Educational Theater Association or PETA.

I had a lot of fun on this overwhelming day.

I was impressed and inspired in the whole program. Impressed because of the outstanding performance of AKTO (Abot Kamay Theater Org.) group about the different lives of sponsored youth who strive hard for their dreams. The message was indeed exceptional because of their acts and the reality that was manifested all throughout. A heartfelt thanks for Sir Edel who have directed and composed all the script of the whole performance of AKTO. It is a privilege to witness such deed. On the other hand, inspiring-- because of the insights that was shared by Ma'am Cynthia (the director of CI-AKI) and Sir Edel (Youth Program Coordinator).

Think big
Aim high
Make mistakes
Learn from them
Be humble
Start anew
Do what is right

--Ma'am Cynthia

6 ways to answer your problem
1. Know the problem.
2. Identify the reasons of it.
3. Think of the solutions to answer it.
4. Select one solution.
5. Do the chosen solution.
6. Evaluate the opted solution--if it answered the problem.

--Sir Edel

In this graduation,
I do really want to thank all the persons behind this institution.
They are the people who undoubtedly helped us,
to get through in our lives.
They are the people who consistently inspire us,
to live with our dreams.
They are the people who continually bless us,
to become what we want to be.

Our sponsorship in CI-AKI may end
but, we are still here to help in our very own way.
Words are not enough to express our gratitude
in the several years that we have been supported.
Through them we will not be what we are right now.
A fully-developed individuals
who never get tired to dream for our tomorrow's success.

As an active youth leader of CI-AKI,
I will continue to be a source of inspiration to my co-youth.
I will continue to transpire and be a role model in my community as well.
I will never get tired to offer and share my talents and abilities
in this institution.
--To be an agent of change.

As I continue my journey,
I will never ever forget what CI-AKI has brought me.
To become better and be my best at all times.
What they have taught me,
the way they molded me,
and the way they inspired me
will still be a big part of me.

Indeed, God is so great in giving me this opportunity
to become so blessed and surrounded by these people.
Whom I owe most.
They become my second family
who helped me to make my dreams turn into reality.
And made things possibly for a youth like me.

--Leonie

wahh.. teary eyes na tuloy ako...
all the things are worthy to be reminisced but... mixed emotions... happiness and sadness.
but I know like what they are always telling us, it doesn't end here. It's only the beginning.

Thank God for this wonderful day:D
I'll be treasuring this forever^_^

QUeStioNable??

This day for me is seemingly questionable. I do not know the reason nor the explanation. Something wasn't happened the way I thought it would be. I hope everything would be settled soon. But, some of my realizations are written below ^_^

***************

We might have the situations in which things seem to be uncertain, constantly asking our very own self why we are experiencing it. We are being inquisitive and can't help to ask when we will know the answer and make things to be certain enough to understand.

Let's think deeply for a while...

It's simply because God's ways defy explanation.

Things aren't our way, it's His ways...

Most of the time we try to figure out the reasons why those happened...

But sometimes it's unfathomable...

Though how genius you are, things kept to be unexplained...

and God only knows why...

We just have to learn how to be more obedient on his will...

I should be.

Wisdom Just In Time

Lately, I've been confused and feel pressured on how to prepare myself in choosing the right words to say and the right things to do the moment I'll be applying for a job next year. But, thanks God, He has provided me the wisdom that I need to get through with it.

Do not worry about how or what you are to say;
for it will be given you in that hour what you are to say.
Matthew 10:19

Do you know what I've discovered about the Lord? He doesn't give wisdom on credit. He doesn't advance you a bundle of insight... Do you know when He gives us words and wisdom and insight? Right when we need them. At the very instant they are required.

Sometimes, you find yourself in a situation you never anticipated, and couldn't prepare for. Suddenly, you're at one of the scenarios in which you have said or done something that you have not yet imagined. Yes, it's illogical. You can't grasp the right words before but the moment you are there, you have already chosen the best words to say. That's how mysterious God's ways are. We just have to be patient and trust whole heartedly.

Loving Him Unexpectedly

Love is an unconditional thing.
Learning to love is truly a blessing.

Last April 4, 2008 , Erwin and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary.

On my way...

I have already planned to surprise him that day, hehe, but unfortunately it was not happened... (it was too ideal and became far from re-al) hhmm.... it's all because of the traffic I have experienced and the problem of waiting for available seat that I could have in jeepneys.. wheeww!! it was really a tiring start...

Thanks God! I have successfully arrived at SM the block to have a lunch with him:)
I saw him while he was sunbathing... hehe... (tama bang magpainit sa ilalim ng naglalagablab na araw??) well, that's worthy to be appreciated:) thanks for that mahal q:)

While having lunch...

We ate lunch at tokyo tokyo... and there it goes..
while he and I were reading some stuff and waiting for our order...
he asked for it... *blush* *blush*
I thumbed up... (haha ang gulo ng answer).. simple yes perhaps:)
Indeed, it's a remarkable scene for me:) we're officially backed with each other's arms again:)

then random things happened separately for us... because he has classes and I went to our sub-office...

Then I waited for him before going home...:)

************

Just want to share my wonderful experience with the man whom always makes me smile:)
Erwin is such a great blessing that God has given me. He is always there to give me strength and courage for me to be able to stumble upon on things that I need to be discovered, lifting me up when I was abruptly pulled down by certain circumstances. Providing the different jokes that would probably makes me laugh continually. Giving the right advices and inspires me when time asks for. Constantly supporting me when I need some cheer. Loving me sincerely as I have never imagined.
(I hope that I am doing the same way)

I thank God so much for letting me know such person who could probably ease and put away the pains I had when I am experiencing sad moments.
I have never thought that I could have a chance to love someone this way. It was just happened unexpectedly. God really knows the right time for everything. For when I will experience something that I have never imagined.

It's really an overwhelming experience to love and to be loved.

I love you mahal ko:)

I simply entrust this love story to you, Lord God:)

An Inspiring Story of a Great Leader

“At the age of seven, a young boy and his family were forced out of their home. The boy had to work to support his family. At the age of nine, his mother passed away. When he grew up, the young man was keen to go to law school, but had no education.

At 22, he lost his job as a store clerk. At 23, he ran for state legislature and lost. The same year, he went into business. It failed, leaving him with a debt that took him 17 years to repay. At 27, he had a nervous breakdown.

Two years later, he tried for the post of speaker in his state legislature. He lost. At 31, he was defeated in his attempt to become an elector. By 35, he had been defeated twice while running for Congress. Finally, he did manage to secure a brief term in Congress, but at 39 he lost his re-election bid.

At 41, his four-year-old son died. At 42, he was rejected as a prospective land officer. At 45, he ran for the Senate and lost. Two years later, he lost the vice presidential nomination. At 49, he ran for Senate and lost again.

At 51, he was elected the President of the United States of America.

The man in question: Abraham Lincoln.”

This article is really exceptional. Knowing a great leader came across through enormous failures in his life but still not afraid to try again and again to succeed. Indeed, failure is not a hindrance but, instead, it's a great opportunity to learn and ponder on it. I remember the moment I've read a topic related on this, it says people who are experiencing success right now are those people who had lots of mistakes, flunks, and failures. They are the individuals who became brave enough to handle things in the right manner. These people are, definitely, a good example to all of us. Being optimistic is a very good attitude of every leaders and successful persons in the world. Looking negative things positively is really a necessity. Life is indeed a matter of choice. Opting what's best for us and would probably harm us. We must be a good driver of our own car. It's up to us if we will turn left or right if an obstacle came on our way. But the very best to do is to keep the right faith to the one who Created us. To glorify Him in everything we do. Because whenever we are doing our very best in every task He has given us, we are pleasing Him as well. Because we are using the gifts of talents and abilities that would eventually glorify HIM whenever we are sharing these stuff with other people.

We can be successful and a good leader in our wonderful ways:)

Just have the right attitude into it!
